Today it's kind of beautiful and warm out. Perfect weather for painting pumpkins. So Miles and I sat down with a plate full of paint, some brushes and three little pumpkins. Two for Miles (to keep his attention just a little bit longer) and one for me.
Miles got right to it like a pro
He is obviously very serious about his pumpkin painting.
and getting messy
and being goofy
When our pumpkins were all finished and dry we proudly made a center piece out of them on our dinning room table.

Oooh I like this idea! A nice alternative to scooping gooey seeds out :D
We usually do both. The little ones paint and the adults will carve a couple big ones. We did have a lot of fun painting these little guys though.
