My roommates and good friends are getting married in oh, five weeks. Weddings are hard work. It's not even my wedding and I am exhausted by it. But after many months of planning, deciding and obsessively (at least on my part) pouring over wedding blogs things are coming together. It's a good thing because five weeks isn't a lot of time.
Stacy (the bride) wanted flowers in her hair in some way and after seeing this picture on oncewed she knew exactly what she wanted.
And I said "we can do that".
So Stacy and I headed out to our local Michaels and with a gift card I got for Christmas 2008 (I knew I was saving that thing for a good reason) we bought enough fake flowers to make three hair pieces. Options are always a good idea.
In all honetsy, I had never worked with fake flowers before and I wasn't entirely sure how to go about making such a thing. I am generally confident in my crafting abilites and pretty handy with a glue gun. I could handle this. So after several days of staring at those darned flowers trying to mentally plan out what to do I finally did it.
Stacy and I are quite happy with how it came out.
And doesn't it look extra pretty on my quilt?
